#about

What Risu Mail is and what these terms cover.

Risu Mail (“Service”) provides email delivery features including Mail API, templates, SMTP relay, OTP, hosted forms, and related tooling. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Service.

By creating an account, using the API, or accessing any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

02

Your account

Responsibilities for keeping your account and credentials secure.

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials and API keys secure.

  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity performed with your API keys.

  • You must use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws (including anti‑spam, marketing, and privacy laws).

03

Acceptable use

#acceptable-use

Rules for how you may (and may not) use Risu Mail.

Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use & Anti‑Spam Policy. That policy is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.

We may update the Acceptable Use & Anti‑Spam Policy from time to time to reflect evolving best practices, regulatory requirements, or new product capabilities.

04

Email sending requirements

#sending

Delivery rules that protect recipients and sending reputation.

  • You must have a lawful basis to contact each recipient and must not send unsolicited bulk email.

  • You must include any legally required disclosures, and honor unsubscribe, opt‑out, and suppression requirements where applicable.

  • You must not use the Service to send phishing content, malware, deceptive messages, or any content that is abusive or harmful.

05

Enforcement, suspension, and review

#enforcement

How we respond to abuse, fraud, or policy violations.

We may investigate suspected abuse or security issues relating to your use of the Service. If we detect policy violations, suspicious activity, or risks to our infrastructure or other customers, we may take actions that can include:

  • Rate limiting or temporarily restricting certain API calls.

  • Rejecting requests, pausing API access (“freezing”), or suspending your account.

  • Disabling logins or API keys that appear compromised.

  • Opening a support or compliance review case and requesting additional information from you.

Where reasonable, we will aim to notify you about enforcement actions and give you an opportunity to respond, unless doing so would create risk of harm or legal liability.

06

Privacy

#privacy

How we handle personal data within Risu Mail.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use the Service.

You are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consents that may be required from your end users or email recipients under applicable data protection and privacy laws.

07

Service changes and availability

#changes

Our ability to evolve the product and its terms.

We may update or modify the Service from time to time, including by adding or removing features, changing limits, or improving performance and security.

We may also update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or business needs. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and, where required, may request renewed acceptance before you continue using the Service.
